How We Met
John and I are high school sweethearts! We met when I was a junior and he was a senior. We were in the same math class, John happened to sit behind me and was the rebel in the class which obviously attracted me to him lol! I was into the bad boys but let’s be real, who wasn’t ;)
How They Asked
The proposal was a shock. He proposed in Banff, Alberta on top of a mountain! I knew it would be happening at some point and thought it could happen when we were on this vacation but when it was our last morning of our trip and we only had a few hours before heading home, I had it set in my mind that it wasn’t happening. BUT then John asked if I wanted to go on one last hike he found before we left and I was all up for it! So we climbed up this mountaintop, made it to the top and looked over the breathtaking view. That’s when it happened, he grabbed my hands and got down on one knee. I was in such a shock that I don’t even remember all that was said, all I know is I said yes!! The cutest part is that he didn’t have my actual ring with him as we were in another country so he snuck out and bought a Banff labeled mood ring and that’s what he proposed with. Spontaneous and so special, just the way John wanted to do!
