How We Met
Chris and I met in 2014 with a humorous twist. He was my supervisor at my job. We worked together for a few months and I could notice chris’s flirtatious personality. He would always be the first to rush to my assistance and help me in anyway possible. He was so charming and wouldn’t notice him not smiling when I was around. Other co-workers could tell his interest with me.
I didn’t think anything of it until chris started asking me out. I was so nervous and didn’t know what to think so the first few times I was hesitant and would say no. Finally I agreed to go to dinner with him where he won my heart. We went on more dates when chris confessed his love for me which was mutual. We started seeing each other in august of 2014. I took a chance at love and quit the job! I have been happily taken since. He has been my rock, my inspiration, and my dream come true.

In July of 2016, a day after my birthday, Chris decided it was time to propose . We’ve talked about getting married all the time. We felt we were each others soulmates. But I didn’t think he was going to ask any time soon. He had this dinner planned for my birthday so I never suspected anything. Weeks before he had asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told him I wanted something romantic that would make me cry. Little did I know he had already planned everything. It was so romantic. A dinner on the beach surrounded by romantic music and mason jars filled with reasons why he loves me.
It was the sweetest sight. His parents cooked us a fabulous dinner and served us as if we were in a restaurant. He also planned a photo shoot after dinner but I thought it was a family photo shoot.
I never imagined the photographer was there to capture the proposal. Shortly after dinner his family comes out with a birthday cake singing happy birthday. It all happened so fast that I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. I just thought this is the best birthday surprise! When suddenly Chris tells me he has another surprise, gets a box out and gets down on one knee.
I barely remember everything he said because I was in shock. All I could do was say yes as he asked me to marry him.
He truly made my birthday wish come true!!
We are beyond thrilled that we both get to spend the rest of our lives with each other.
