how we met
We originally met back in 2012 through mutual friends. We saw each other out a few times but we were both in relationships at the time so never really spoke. Fast forward about a yr later and guess who’s interviewing for a position at my job? Nato! So we are co workers now. We slowly become friends and eventually start dating. We both love to travel and had gone on several trips so I honestly didn’t think this trip to Mexico would be “the one”.
how they asked
It happened the first night we were there at one of the shows the hotel put on every night. They end the show by grabbing people from the audience to do a group/line dance on stage… We were part of that group. The dance ends and I start following the crowd off stage back to my seat, until Nato grabs me. At this time he’s holding a microphone in his hands. That’s when it happened!
On stage in front of over 100 strangers he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Everything after that is blur, but I obviously said yes! I learned after the fact that he planned this earlier in the day with the hotel staff. So they purposely picked us to go on stage. (Sneaky sneaky) We celebrated our 3-year dating anniversary soon after, and we went back to Mexico on July 28, 2017 to say I DO!
