How We Met
Chris and I had a very modern introduction – we met through tinder. Yep, it actually works sometimes. Hover the first day we met was nothing than extraordinary. We only intended to meet up as “friends” for a quick coffee.
(He later told me he had a date with someone else planned for that day) But we ended up spending the entire day together roaming around London, having multiple coffees and dinner. Then as evening turned to night we walked along the Mall (near Buckingham Palace) and I remember we stopped for a minute or so and it was then we had our first kissed abs the rest is history as they say.
How They Asked
With COVID there was always a huge challenge for Chris and he wanted to deliver something beautiful and romantic. He’d been toying with lots of ideas, but when it came to our proposal he decided (on the day) to do it on New Years’. He thought it would be something to remember and lift spirits. He organized a huge family zoom call for us to ring in the new year with family and then waited for the perfect moment.
Our proposal happened on 1.1.21 just after the stroke of midnight. It was great as we had the entire day to celebrate. The ring was designed by fiancé Chris and created by @londonjeweller.
