How We Met
After overlooking each other at a few gatherings of mutual friends, Andrew finally took notice and made a move. Penn State became home to our love story and a couple moves around the northeast after college started our lives together.

Andrew and I were visiting my family in Pittsburgh for Christmas 2014. On December 26th we went downtown to meet up with my best friend, Alyssa, for dinner. I was completely oblivious to his all day jitters and weird plan suggestions. I made him leave earlier than planned and he had to stall me until Alyssa could arrive. I wasn’t allowed to hug him because he “felt sick” which I later found out meant he was afraid I’d feel the ring in his pocket. But, of course, I didn’t catch on. He knew that I would want a picture in front of the beautiful PPG Christmas tree. While Alyssa was snapping away, Andrew got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course I said yes!! It was perfect. He even followed it up by organizing having my family close by to celebrate. He’s a keeper!
