Amy and Dan

How We Met

In 2015, I moved clear across the world (7,801 miles to be exact) from Scottsdale, Arizona to Sydney, Australia. Little did I know that the move would prompt the most beautiful love story I could have ever imagined. I met Dan on day two in the office, and after the first date at a rugby match, we knew we had something special.

How They Asked

For the proposal, Dan used the excuse of his upcoming birthday to book a weekend away for the two of us. We drove 3 hours south of Sydney to a luxurious “glamping” spot called Paperbark Camp in the heart of Jervis Bay, famous for their white sand beaches and beautiful blue water. On a warm and sunny spring day just 3 years after our first date, Dan got down on one knee and asked me the easiest question of my life!

We are absolutely thrilled to be planning our wedding and cannot wait to tie the knot in San Diego in 2019. We joke that we are soulmates as his last name is Rosen and my last name is Rosenblum, so our wedding hashtag will be #droptheblum. How incredible that I only have to drop the last 4 letters of my maiden name. It was meant to be!!

Special Thanks
