How We Met

We met for the first time in Princeton, at a cute pizza shop called Jules Pizza. We had talked about pineapple and jalapeno pizza and I had to have Ammar try it for the first time! We spent over three or so hours at a pizza shop because it was safe to say, neither of us wanted the conversation to end.

How They Asked

It was April 4, 2020 and Ammar had come to spend the day with my family and after lunch he asked if I wanted to get some coffee at one of my favorite spots, the Jersey City Waterfront that overlooks downtown Manhattan. We had been there so many times now that I did not suspect a thing, and when we set up to take a “picture” which later turned out to be a video recording for our family, mid video, he bent the knee!! Best surprise ever!
