How We Met
Sunny and I were introduced via our families (his sister and my aunt), after a week of exchanging numbers we arranged to meet. We met on the 29th July 2015 and decided to go to Frankie & Benny’s. I remember walking out of my car towards the restaurant and seeing Sunny in the distance, I felt butterflies straight away. We greeted one another and walked into the restaurant and the spark was huge from the very first minute. He was a proper gentleman in the way he spoke and treated me. We chatted non stop and both ordered the same meal (lasagna), we had so many things in common, i felt like we were almost the same person! He told me that when he saw a picture of me thought i was a model or an actress.
When it came to desert we were both quite full, Sunny suggested we shared desert. We both fed each other the chocolate brownie…it was love at first site! After our date he walked me to my car, we hugged and said bye, he added at the end “look forward to seeing you again”…i had the biggest smile all the way home and I knew he was the one already! The connection we had from the very first time we met was amazing, I felt so comfortable around him and could tell that he was such a kind, loving, caring and genuine person.
how they asked
On the 24th September 2016 Sunny told me we were going out for the day in Torquay. He picked me up at 6.30 am from my house and took me to the train station. When we got on the train I asked him where the train was changing and replied at Birmingham International. I walked into Birmingham International train station expecting to get on to another train taking us to Torquay. As we walked through the train station Sunny said to me “remember when you told me you’d love to go to Paris one day?”, I replied “yes”. “Well that is where we are going right now” he said and took 2 passports out his pocket. He had got my passport off my sister behind my back. I was in utter shock and disbelief and didn’t expect it at all! Until the moment I sat on the plane I was in disbelief.
When we landed in Paris he took me to an amazing restaurant called Les Climats. After we had lunch I noticed the restaurant suddenly go quite, Sunny then began to tell me how much he loved me and how wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, he told me I made him the happiest man in the world. He got down on one knee and asked me if I’d marry him to which I replied “yes”.
He then put the most beautiful ring ever on my finger. The moment was amazing.
We spent the rest of our day at the Eiffel tower, we walked all the way to the top and stared out at the view.
It was a day I will never forget, he made me feel like a princess and the most special girl in the entire world. He is a dream come true!
