How We Met
I met Nick in college- we were in the same class. I had my eye on him for the whole semester and I was such a girl telling my friends about the “cute boy” in my class. We’d make eye contact and briefly would speak but nothing crazy. However, my mind always went back to him… so on the last day of class, I told myself I need to know who he is. So I checked out- I mean how can you not, look at him! I saw him later on and our eyes locked but he was going in the opposite direction- so what did I do? Chased him and hear we are 3 years later. Long story short- when you feel something go for it because it can be the best thing that ever happened to you.
How They Asked
Nick asked me under the twinkle lights on the ice skating rink at Cedar Lakes Estate. It was truly like a movie… everyone on the estate knew that he was going to propose to me and helped him plan it.
They mapped everything out-it was as if each person was a character playing their part! The moment was so surreal and absolutely breathtaking. Everything was so beautiful and most of all magical. Truly felt like cloud nine. I cannot get over it!
