How We Met
December 4th 2013 is the day to be exact that I met my future husband. My best friend and his introduced us at your typical bar, located in Staten Island. The rest I have to say is history. It was fate that brought us together and we withstood the test of time. Who would’ve thought the love of my life lived only 3 blocks away?

Billy and I received tickets as part of a Christmas present to see the Christmas Spectacular. Who would have thought, the tickets were not real? Rather, it was simply just a clever way to get me into New York City. Billy wanted to take me to dinner before the show. Billy is a man always full of surprises, so this was nothing out of the ordinary. I tried my hardest to guess the restaurant of choice and he just kept saying, “You’ll see.” We arrived at the View of the World Terrace Club, where I thought I was walking into a restaurant overlooking New York City. Little did I know, when Billy opened the door, I walked onto a rooftop with the most breath-taking view i’ve ever seen. Overwhelmed with tears of happiness, all I saw was a photographer, our favorite pictures in frames, two rows of candles, and the letters “A & W” in lights. It was something out of a movie. As I turned around, the love of my life got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! This was the best day of my life!
