How We Met
Our story began in September 2011, when I had transferred to Bentley University to study Accountancy. I had just transferred to a new school and didn’t know many people. My roommate, Shannon, convinced me to pledge a co-ed business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, so that I could meet more people. So, I did and she was right! I made lots of new friends, especially my big, John! We quickly realized that we were basically the same person, and became inseparable friends.
After spending the semester bonding as big and little, we decided we liked each other more than friends. At the annual “‘Tis the Season to Blackout” party, John made his move on me! We officially started dating shortly after on December 16, 2011.
Six years have passed since then and we’ve shared so many wonderful memories. From moving into our first apartment, graduating from Bentley, lots of beach vacations, sporting events, concerts, and adopting a puppy! We are looking forward to many more years of love, and happiness as husband and wife!

On June 27, 2017, we were on their annual “points adventure” vacation. Each year we pool together our travel points (Marriott/Chase/AA) to go on an unforgettable vacation. This year, the destination was the St. Regis in Punta Mita, Mexico. Little did I know that this year’s points adventure was going to be even more special! On the second day there, we spent the morning at the spa, then the rest of the day relaxing by the pool. We headed back to the room to get ready before dinner when John asked me to be ready early, so they could go for a walk on the beach before dinner. Just as the sun was starting to set, John got down on one knee in the sand and asked for my hand in marriage!
