How We Met: Brandon and I met when we were 15 and 16 years old during our Sophomore year of High School through a mutual friend. By the end of that year Brandon had made me fall completely head over heels in love with him. When senior year rolled around and it was time to choose where we would be attending college, we both knew that breaking up was not going to be an option. I ended up going to Stockton College in Southern New Jersey while Brandon went even further south to the University of Virginia. Lots of driving, train rides, and flights later we made 4 years of long distance seem easy!
how they asked: Brandon and I have traveled to Disney World every year that we started dating. So when college graduation rolled around, it only made sense that we should celebrate graduation/ the end of our long-distance relationship in the place that made us the happiest and most free-spirited. Little did I know that as I was planning our trip, Brandon was planning the proposal of a lifetime! When we arrived at the hotel and were checking in the woman asked if we were celebrating anything, I immediately said that we are celebrating graduation. Looking back the woman looked at Brandon kinda weird when I said it, but I really didn’t think anything of it. The next day we headed to the Magic Kingdom. I love taking pictures at Disney World because they have the professional photographers all over the park to take your picture. It was a gorgeous day and there was no line at one of the photo spots in front of the castle, so of course I grabbed Brandon and dragged him to take a picture! We took a few pictures and then I saw Brandon looking around and then all of a sudden he grabbed my hand and got down on one knee!!!!!!!! I couldn’t even believe what was happening, he said the sweetest most romantic things, I was so emotional that I didn’t even know if I said yes! People were cheering all around us but it felt like we were the only two people in park. He couldn’t have done a single thing better!
