How We Met
Alan and I met in high school band class. He was an amazing saxophone player and I was in the clarinet section. As our fairy tale high school sweetheart story continues, we went to university together, bought our first condo, got a puppy and even made a big decision to leave our friends and family and take an adventure together to try out the expat life in Dubai.

Our friends were visiting Dubai and we decided to try out one of the most romantic restaurants Peir Chic. It had a very long boardwalk to enter into the restaurant doors. We started to walk along the boardwalk and then he stopped and reached for the ring that was hidden. (my friends had already planted the ring at the specific spot). It was a blur after that, tears and just pure joy. I said yes and heard the cheers from the other end as my friends were hiding. All along there was secret photographer taking pictures of this, I thought he was a random tourist. As I continued to walk to my friends to celebrate this moment, my twin sister came out of hiding. She had flown in the night before to not miss this special event. Alan has made this moment of my life my most cherished and happiest dream come true.
