How We Met
We’ve known each other for about 5 years. Basically we got to know each other through our church. When we started dating, I knew he was the one because of all the morals and standards that we shared and our love for God and family. He is incredible :) we’ve been dating since April 2013 so this year will be 3 years of our relationship :)

So the first weekend of the new year, both of our families decided to go to Lake Tahoe together for a mini vacation. My boyfriend (now fiancé) decided that this was the perfect opportunity for a proposal. So he could not miss this opportunity.. Sunday morning, he took me to a beautiful place surrounded by snow and a gorgeous view of the lake. We also brought along his sister, his brother and our other friend (who were capturing the moments ? ). as we walked through the snow to the edge of the vista point, where the whole lake was glistening beautifully, he grabbed me and hugged me for a “picture”. While I was smiling for the picture, I felt him step away and look for my hands.. Grabbing my hands he turned to me and started saying a little speech (in this moment I was freakingg ouuut inside!! So many emotions that I couldn’t even remember what he was saying). After the speech, he got down on one knee( keep in mind the snow was super slippery and icy. I was praying he wouldn’t trip in the most perfect moment ? ) but thank God, he didn’t fall. He got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. Obviously I said yes!!! And now engaged to my best friend!
