How We Met
Trent had just moved to the island I grew up on in the Pacific Northwest from Reno, Nevada. Trent and I were both in high school, he was just starting his sophomore year and I was starting my junior year. I was asked to sing the National Anthem for the High School football game. So I said yes and sang and Trent happened to be one of the football players. After that we added each other on Facebook and he told me that he fell in love with my voice! We had planned to hang out before my volleyball game so we met at the soccer field to watch part of the game and meet face to face for the first time. I remember exactly what he was wearing. His smile was amazing even with the retainer in his mouth. ? We have been through so much together. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He makes me feel comfortable, secure, protected. He supports me and accepts me for who I am! He is my best friend ❤️
how they asked
In August we took a trip to Yellowstone National Park for a family trip with his side of the family. On August 19, 2017 we got up early in the morning and drove 3 hours to the Grand Tetons National Park. We approached a littke chapel called the Chapel of Transfiguration with a spectacular view! When we had gotten there Trents dad had asked me if I had ever seen pictures of this place. I told him no and Trent preceded to tell me that this was his favorite place in the entire world. After I had used the restroom I came out and everybody had already gone inside. I walked down to sit at a our and his grandma was taking a picture with her husband Doug. After that it was our turn. We take the picture and it was all done and I get ready to walk off of the stage and he slowly let’s go of my hand and as I turn around he gets down on one knee. It was the most amazing day ever!! The ring that he gave me was his great grandmothers ring and it is stunning!!
