How We Met
I met Tyler when I transferred to Western Carolina University in the Spring of 2019! My roommate (shout out to my now MOH) set us up on a blind date. We had dinner downtown and Tyler showed me around the city. We went on a couple more dates until we went on a picnic on Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, Georgia. He planned a picnic in the back of his truck with candles, blankets, and flowers. It was a rainy first Sunday in March when we started dating. Over the past 4 years, we have made some incredible memories! Tyler is my person and the one who just makes life so fun! I am so excited for forever with him!!

How They Asked
We started our Sunday at church and then Tyler said we were going on an adventure. So not out of the ordinary for my now fiancé. First, we went to Bell Mountain which was where we went on the rainy first Sunday in March 2019 when we started dating. It was so special to be back where it all began four years later. Next, we went to the lake house on Lake Burton which was such a special surprise.
We have spent many summers at the lake together and have the best memories of the water. We walked down to the dock and he handed me the most heartfelt handwritten letter. After I read the letter he got down on one knee and popped the question! A few moments later the photographer came out of hiding and continued taking the sweetest pictures! He said he had one more surprise! It was dinner with our parents! The perfect way to end the best day of my life!! Here’s to forever!!!!
