How We Met
Mat and I first met on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship! Mat went on the cruise for a bachelor party and I was on a girls trip. Little did we know that would be the cruise where our lifelong journey began.
How They Asked
I proposed to Alexis on the beach in her hometown. There was a ton of planning, lots of which ended up changing due to Alexis being so intuitive and a planning expert. She typically organizes everything and kept asking questions that I couldn’t give her answers to without ruining the surprise. Finally, I found a plan that worked and caught her off guard. I was able to have her brother fly down for the weekend and he helped capture the moment. After the proposal I planned for a surprise engagement party that night with both of our families. It was everything she wanted and more, and if you watch the videos her tears speak for themselves.
