How We Met
Patrick and I met in middle school. We had a class together. I was on the cheer team and he played football. We went to high school together but never really hung out. On my 22 birthday Pat reconnected with me wishing me a happy birthday on Facebook. We began to date and have been together for 4 years now!
how they asked
Patrick and I were visiting New York, both of our first times in the big apple. He knows how much I loved the tv show Gossip Girl and wanted to see certain places where they filmed. We were in central park and visited the Met steps, of course, then headed to the Bethesda Terrace, where Chuck and Blair got married on the show. We asked some people standing by to take a photo of us and a few seconds later, Patrick was down on one knee holding a ring out and asking me to spend the rest of our lives together.
All i remember is tears running down my face as I nodded yes!
