How We Met
Sean and I had both walked into a coffee shop and our hearts stopped. He was sitting at a table in the corner and I remember thinking to myself that I had never seen a man more handsome, with such kind eyes. His description of seeing me walk through the doors was “I thought I was in a L’Oréal commercial!” Within minutes of talking, we knew. As a proposal and wedding photographer myself, I’ve heard hundreds of love stories and sweet stories of how my couples met but absolutely nothing could have prepared me for that love-at-first-sight feeling.
Nothing! Shortly after we began dating, my family was struck by tragedy and Sean remained by my side through it all, giving me strength and loving me endlessly. His kind heart, his incredible mind, and his absolutely contagious laugh make him truly the man of my dreams and make me the luckiest girl in the world. I cannot believe he’s mine and I get to be with him FOREVER!
How They Asked
Sean and I have returned to the coffee shop where we first met for every important date to us: Valentine’s Day, our anniversary. We celebrate Valentine’s Day the week prior and our sweet tradition always begins with coffee at our favorite spot! So when we returned to Moonbean Cafe, I had no idea that Sean had already asked my parents for permission and their blessing to ask me to marry him. He had my parents and best friend come and witness our proposal, all while a videographer captured it all as it unfolded. I had NO idea!
“A year and a half ago, when you first came up here, I thought I saw an angel. And ever since then, I feel like I’ve been in heaven.”-Sean as he dropped to one knee!
