How They Asked
We had planned to go to Napa for a low key New Years Eve. We were booked to stay at the oldest bed and breakfast in Napa called Beazley House. Once we arrived and checked into our room, Marcel got a phone call and I went to explore the beautiful garden. I noticed they had a large oak tree with a swing. As I sat in the swing, Marcel came out and went into the main house to ask for a cell phone charger. Suddenly, Marcel is next to the swing and appears to be tying his shoe. He takes his hat off where the ring box is inside. As he is asking me to marry him, I start laughing to hysterically crying. I couldn’t believe we were engaged!
