How We Met
Hunter and I met in 2016 and had no mutual friends in common. I was nervous to go out with him since I had never heard of him before. We live in a small town where everyone knows each other, so I was a little apprehensive. I truly thought he was the most handsome guy I had ever laid eyes on, so I agreed to meet casually at a spot near his apartment called the lookout. I needed to make sure it was a very public place since I didn’t know who the heck he was! We ended up hitting it off and sat there and talked for hours. He planted a huge kiss on me and I was smitten. However, the timing just wasn’t right for us and we stayed friends until 2018. That was not only when we decided to become official, but also the year Hunter made a big career move and relocated to Nashville,Tennessee. For the last year he has flown me out every month to visit and we have made it work. Being with him is effortless.
How They Asked
Hunter came home to visit me for the weekend and planned a romantic night at the Glasbern Inn. This is a historic hotel in PA set on a 130 acre estate filled with gardens, ponds, and event spaces. There is a farm to table restaurant and the grounds are filled with beautiful rustic touches and tons of perfect nooks and crannies for photo ops. Before dinner we took a walk on the property and when we got to one of the private gardens he took my hand under a trellis and asked me to spend my life with him. When he popped open the ring box I could not believe that he picked the exact ring I had shown him I loved. It was the ring of my dreams, but more importantly the man of my dreams.
