How We Met
Eddie and I met when we were sophomores in college. It was the fall of 2016, and we were both in the same Spanish class together. Eddie had been recently injured while playing baseball for our school, which put him in crutches for a few weeks.
He approached me one day after class and we started talking. He walked me all the way across campus to my next class, which was not an easy task at the time. We went on a first date soon after, and have been inseparable ever since!
How They Asked
It was a Saturday afternoon, and I was getting ready to go horseback riding with my mom and Eddie’s mom. My mom and I met Eddie’s mom for lunch, then we all headed to go horseback riding together. We got on our horses and started riding. The sun was shining and the view was incredible! As we rounded a corner, I saw something moving behind a tree.
Before I knew it, I saw Eddie walking towards me with our family trailing behind him. He helped to get me off the horse and started telling me how much he loved me. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I don’t even think I said the word “yes” because I was so excited!
