Alex and I met through mutual friends! it was two days before our two year anniversary and he coordinated a hike with two friends that we hadn’t seen in a while, one being a professional photographer. when we reached the top, he took my hand, got down on one knee, and gave me the most beautiful ring I could ever imagine. we didn’t even realize it was raining! :)
