I was working at a golf course as a summer job and all the older golfers would always ask how I could still be single and would tease me that I wouldn’t make it through the summer without meeting the man I would marry someday. Well, they weren’t wrong!

One of my best friends is a photographer and Alex had asked if she could somehow help with his surprise proposal! For two months Alex and Whitney had been planning this photoshoot for Whitney’s “new website” and she had asked me to be one of the three models for the new home page. She had coordinated for me to go into hair and makeup and head out to the photoshoot location. We were taking photos for no more than ten minutes before Alex sneaks in behind me and gets down on one knee!
I totally fell for it and still can’t believe they were able to keep it a secret for that long! My heart is so full, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend!?
