how they asked
On October 25, 2015 I was woken up to my boyfriend with my favorite coffee and kisses. A huge surprise to me because I was told he had to work a double that day, and after a long night of work for me, I was expecting to be able to sleep in while our son was at his grandma’s for the weekend. As I was getting out of bed I was told to shower and get ready because he wanted to go on a picnic and take advantage of a beautifully perfect day together. As I only got about 3 hours of sleep, I was quite cranky, but I agreed. We were on our way to the grocery store as I look down at my hands and I say “man, I need to get my nails done soon!” His response was “good, you have an appointment at noon to get them done”, now that should’ve been a red flag there but I always got my nails done and he always noticed!
He sat next to me as I got my nails done talking with me like one of the girls, and we finally decided what to get for our picnic to eat. We go and get food and head to the beach where we had our first picnic. As we are walking down the stairs of rocks to get there, a stranger came out of Nowhere and handed Adam a bouquet of flowers. I was weirded out to say the least. But all of a sudden he drops our food, gets down on one knee and asks me to spend the rest of my life with him. I thought it was a joke at first, as I don’t take anything he says too seriously.
Not even 10 seconds after I say yes, I see all of my family and his family come out from behind the trees! And when I see my son running towards us, it was the most perfect moment!
