How We Met
We met in high school through a mutual friend. We began dating our junior year, graduated together, and have grown separately and together throughout the past 7 years.
How They Asked
Ryan took me on a trip to Atlantic City to celebrate my college graduation. Our original plans were canceled due to the pandemic but he still wanted to celebrate my successes! We spent the day at the beach with some of our mutual friends. Later that night, while walking the boardwalk, my friend “lost” her credit card. While frantically searching, we ended up back to the beach where we had spent the day. To my surprise, all of our friends were there with champagne, rose petals, and a handmade sign that said “Abby will you marry me.” At this point, Ryan was on a knee asking me to marry him!! It truly was a wonderful surprise and I’m so happy we were able to have this experience with a few close friends!
