How We Met
We first met at my sophomore prom (his senior prom) and I was instantly interested in him. I ended up getting his number from a friend I was there with and he started giving me rides back and forth to school. We clicked and hung out all the time, shortly after we started dating he moved to Louisiana for a job that he had planned to do before me and him met.
How They Asked
The night he asked me to be his girlfriend we went to a hill where you could see the sunset and we danced on the truck bed. The day he proposed he paid to get my nails done then took me to dinner downtown, I was already suspicious of him proposing so when he didn’t do it at dinner I got discouraged. We were almost back home when he pulled up to the hill and we got out of the car and looked out at the view for a minute; he proposed when it was just me and him, it was very intimate and simple which is exactly what I wanted.
