How We Met
Matt and I met at a Sacramento digital agency we both worked for at the time. A coworker of ours introduced us to each other at a lunch outing and the rest was history!

Fast forward to almost two years later– Matt now working in Menlo Park while I’m still working in Sacramento, we like to spend every moment they can together which is weekends, mostly.
We decided to head up to Tahoe for New Year’s Eve to ring in 2016 with my brother and his wife, as well as my best friend.
I was ecstatic to see our own personal cabin that looked like something right out of a storybook! The recent snowfall had created nothing short of a winter wonderland that day.
Everyone had unpacked and started settling in the cabin when Matt said he forgot something in the car and needed help; I thought nothing of it and obliged. Once down at the car, I opened the door to find nothing needing to be carried up. I turned around to see a glimpse of a beautiful, sparkling ring as Matt bent down on one knee saying those four little words; “Will you marry me?” I was stunned and started realizing my best friend was videoing the entire moment! I overwhelmingly and excitingly said YES!
