A Snowy Photoshoot Turns Into a Surprise Marriage Proposal

How we met: I first met Kyle in high school when we rode the same bus. I ended up getting a job at a pizza restaurant my junior year of school and Kyle was worked at the grocery store that was next door. He started bringing me ice cream after he got off work. After awhile we began to hang out. Our first date was at that ice cream shop. After a few years of being together I started college and Kyle went to boot camp.

how they asked: He planned the whole proposal in like 3 days. Thursday he talked to my dad. Friday he “went to help his recruiter” (went to pick out my ring). Saturday he left me at the mall while he went to “change a flat tire for his friend” (met with Jasmine, the photographer, to set up a place to propose and where she could be to get pictures of it). Then Sunday we went to get our pictures taken which I thought I had set up couples pictures. But he had set up the engagement session. We were suppose to meet Jasmine at 2 but he insisted we went at 1:30 and I complained the whole walk out there cause I didn’t understand why were going to stand and wait for her for an extra 30 mins.

But we got there and were standing and talking and he started to get down on the ground and I told him to stop cause I didn’t want him to get dirty before the pictures, and I thought he was kidding.

I didn’t actually realize it was real until he pulled out the ring. I’d say he did a pretty good job of setting it up and making it perfect!
